Protective Gear
The Triple Eight Saver Series protective gear is worth every penny. Very well constructed and a real bargin.

knee pads bite!
the knee pads broke the first time i wore them to roller derby practice. the lower velcro strap is in a poor spot so it will easily rip off when falling on your knees. if you get them for mere protection while skating and don't intend on really practicing falling, then they're alright for beginners. Also, i got the large, based on the knee measurement given in the chart but the wrist guards are a bit too big so just be aware that if you thin and measure (at he knee) in the lower range of the "large" you might want to go with the medium.

Good Set
Got me through my first day of roller derby, knee slides and all. Wrist protectors seem big.

Good Pads for the Money
These pads are of relatively good quality, especially for the price. They are easy to take on and off and are light and comfortable while skating. I purchased them for Roller Derby and plan to buy something that offers a bit more protection before any serious competition. A note about sizing: Go a size smaller, as the elastic straps do stretch.

Nice price
Decent pads for the price. Nothing real great about them. A little uncomfortable but they work as well as any other knee pad.
