XL helmet if you remove some of the padding.
It's good if you take some of the pads out of it. It's a good for the price tag.

This is an a L or XL helmet beware
Please listen to what the other reviews say when they mention this is small for a Large helmet. I bought it because the listing states Large/X Large thinking it would fit being a 'Mens L/XL size' and it was way too small.

Do not buy this for anyone larger than a teenager/young adult unless they have a really small head or you'll be sending it back.

Can't speak to the quality or usage of the helmet because it's just too small for me to use.

great helmet for the price
I got this helmet for my almost 4yr old as he really wanted "skateboarding" helmet and most helmets of this kind out there cost much more than he needs at this point. His head is bigger than average for his age (20.5") and the small size fit a little bit loose (I would say it fits 21" perfectly). I fixed it by sticking the extra pad supplied with the helmet on top of the front insert padding. Now it fits snug and this way it will fit him longer. The packaging says that small is for age 12 and younger and the large is 13 and over. Helmet looks very cool and it is much better quality than I expected for the price.

This is actually a children's helmet
Thus, "large/x-large" translates to a hat size between 7-1/4 and 7-1/2. In spite of that, it's quite heavy and bulky. For $12, though, it does the trick.

Nice Looking - Too Small for X-Large
This is a great looking skateboard helmet. I bought it for my 15 year old son, thinking the X-Large should be plenty big enough. It was way too small on his head though and had to return it.
